- Inner Workings Ltd of Glasgow, 1996-1997; animator and illustrator for computer games.
- I regularly work for Red Kite Productions Ltd of Edinburgh, both in traditional lightbox animation and in digital media such as Macromedia Flash: for some examples of Flash work, see www.redkite-animation.com /flash/flashcollection.htm . I have directed &/or animated several TV commercials at Red Kite: clients include Faulds Advertising of Edinburgh.
- I have been employed by Channel 4's Mesh scheme for innovation in digital animation, as lead animator on the short film Glasgowland (Alexander Hetherington, 2003); this can be seen online at www.channel4.com/mesh (click "Year 03", "Alex Hetherington").

Edinburgh College of Art:
- Master of Design degree in Illustration, 2002 (Andrew Grant Scholarship); I undertook this course part-time whilst continuing to work in freelance practice. The comic-book Straight to Video featured in my degree exhibition, December 2002.
- First Class B. A. (Hons) degree in Illustration, 1996.

Digital imaging applications that I am fluent in include the following:

I am also adept at quickly teaching myself applications previously unfamiliar to me, and am equally proficient in the use of either Mac or PC.
